Research Interests

We are broadly interested in better understanding the biogeochemical cycles of carbon, nutrients, mercury and other contaminants across landscapes from headwaters to nearshore coastal environments, drawing on principles from environmental chemistry, hydrology, limnology, oceanography and terrestrial ecology. Our research combines fieldwork with analytical chemistry and biogeochemical/hydrological modelling within the following broad themes:
